Pengertian Present Simple Tense
Present simple tense is the base form of a verb in English.The word ‘present’ is usually understood that this tense is used to indicate the present state of the verb. In general, it is known that present simple tense expresses situations or events that exist always, habitually, usually; they exist now, have existed in the past, and probably will exist in the future. It functions verbs for expressing general activities, general truth, of habitual action, of perceptions, of mental states and so on.
Rumus Simple Present Tense
To form the present simple tense, the formula is subject followed by infinitive verbs or followed by infinitive verbs added with s or es if the subjects are the third person singulars. It illustrates below:The Formula: Subject + Infinitive Verb (s/es) + Object
For example:
I go to my work place every day.
He goes to his work place every day.
To make present simple tense, sometimes it needs the help of time expression.The typical time expressions use in the present simple tense are: always, often, usually, habitually, occasionally, sometimes, right now, at the moment, ever/never, every day/week/month, once or twice a week, on Friday(s), in the morning(s)/ evening(s), at ten o’clock, and so on.

• Expressing a general truth that it was true in the past, it is true in the present, and it will be true in the future, or general statements of fact, for example:
It snows in Alaska.
Water contains of hydrogen and oxygen.
• Expressing habitual actions, or the repeated actions such as routines and habits, jobs and hobbies, things that happen again and again, for example:
They study in group for two hour every night.
My brother usually takes a bus back home from his work place.
• Expressing mental state, for example
My mother believes that bad things will not happen.
The kids know the way back home from their school.
• Expressing perception, for example
